Did UVic use two or three for the prisons?

I believe they used two as I remember seeing only two of them up at one point.

On the opposite side, the buildings look like they're about ready to come down.

This thing is no joke rising really quickly. Taken today, a week after lanforod's snapshot:

This building made me wonder; can a wood frame structure rise 6 full floors above a concrete first level or does it have to stop at 5? In other words could this have been a 7 storey building?

They can go to eight, right? But you need two concrete floors, I believe. It's more efficient to build 5/1s (five woodframe above a concrete floor) that's why we see them so often, and buildings of seven or eight storeys not so much.

The other half of the new building is now rising. From the Fairways parking lot:

I didn't realize this was going up in two halves. Are any of the other buildings on the site under construction yet?

So far, it looks like work is ongoing for the foundation of the building fronting Shelbourne but it's moving ever so slowly compared to the one above. The rest of the site is still being excavated from what I can tell.
Going up so fast! I guess there wasn’t a lot of underground excavation here?
My guess is that because the majority of that site was a parking lot and that it was the first side to start excavation that they got a quick head-start.
