The latest Sidewalking Victoria article is up! I once again look to rainy days and wish we had parks that took advantage of all the water that falls from the sky. Have a read and let me know what you think.

Sidewalking Victoria is back with another travel post. This time I visit Point Roberts, Washington. Let me know if you have ever been there and what you thought! http://www.sidewalki...washington.html

Point Roberts, the cut-off U.S. town on B.C.'s border, wants Canadian workers

Maybe the US should just sell it to Canada. With the agreement all citizens there can become dual.

Or we give the US Saturna Island in trade.

Will a splashpad make a difference? My latest article looks at the new plan for Centennial Square and what I might do instead. Have a read and let me know what you think!

If you are going to spend millions then give up on the idea of making this square work. Built the new Art Gallery there and also a New Marine Museum. (Make the fountain part of the Art Gallery in some Fashion.

I think that’s probably the best way, too. Redevelop the space and put in civic amenities.

For years I have suggested that both a new central library and the AGGV should be relocated here. I just don't see the will or the funding for this likely to materialize.

CoV can't even build a new swimming pool.

By 3019 all humans will either look like this

or be extinct.

Love it, we spent a few days on Fogo island, few days in the Appalachians, toured the Humber valley and Cornerbrook area but didn’t make it to the city. The Fogo Inn was a really great experience, that we will likely never have again.

I really loved the west side of the island, and would like to to back and see more.

That’s quite the combo, Bub. Did you buy a banjo?
