It's only real flaw is being too short (kind of like me). This corner could easily handle 15-17 floors.

I'm still not sure how this one will end up looking. I'm wondering if the entire project might end up seeming too dark.

But on the other hand, there actually is a fair bit of window glass on that Yates Street face.

I'll go out on a limb and pose the question: will Nest be something to crow about or will it lay an egg?

A little birdie told me it would be soaring good.

Can someone people post pictures of Haven. The property is almost finished, but the developers aren't posting any pictures. Thanks.

Thanks for posting that picture. Did you friend happen to take any pictures of the interior? It would be great if you can post those as well. Thanks!

Not sure how I feel about that "ice cream cake" pattern on the cladding panels. I suppose I should give them a half-point for being a bit different.
In Victoria it seems to me we typically get more interesting cladding and exterior details on smaller buildings than on larger ones.

To clarify, I believe it's the same panel along the ground floor on the Johnson Street lowrise as on the exterior of 12-story building. On the ground floor there it looks fine to me. But on the 12-story building I'm not sure it works.
But anyway, it's a trivial quibble. (somebody should make a note of it, since trivial quibbles don't often appear on this board)

"Trivial Quibbles" was my favourite episode of classic Star Trek, FYI.

I haven't even moved in yet and I saw people have already taken down some of the "trellis" style balcony walls at Haven. IMO, it makes the exterior look worse and ruins the zig-zag pattern the developer intended... is this going to be an issue for the strata? I've never owned a condo before so not sure how this type of thing is normally handled.
