They’ll reveal themselves in a vote, siding with the Cons.

As hilarious as that would be, I really doubt it.

An option would be to step aside from the Liberal Party and sit next to the NDP, but not join the NDP.

IN 2001,the Canadian Alliance had a dust-up with Deborah Grey leading a revolt of members against Stockwell Day. The Liberals were in power at the time, but with a majority, so no government would fall. The Democratic Representative Association had twelve MPs who left sitting with the Canadian Alliance and sat with the fifth party Progressive Conservatives as a coalition. The election of Steven Harper as CA leader and merging with the PC party of Peter MacKay resulted in the current Conservative Party.

I could see this as the birth of a new single left wing party, killing the old Liberal and NDP parties, both of which currently lack popularity.

Apparently the count is now up to 50 dissidents. I hope Trudeau stays so that he can get totally humiliated in the next election.

Bloc Québécois Leader Yves-François Blanchet said Tuesday he will work with the other opposition parties to bring down the Liberal government after Ottawa failed to deliver what he wanted: a pension hike for some and further protections for supply-managed farm sectors.

After the NDP pulled out of its deal to prop up the Liberals, Blanchet stepped into the mix, saying he would back the Liberals on non-confidence votes if it passed two Bloc private member's bills that hike Old Age Security payments for people between the ages of 65 and 74 and exempt dairy, poultry and eggs from future trade negotiations.

He gave the government a deadline of Oct. 29 to pass both bills into law.

The Liberals have mismanaged the nation to such a degree that the Loonie is at its lowest value relative to the USD since 2020, when the world was turned upside down.

We’ve fallen below 72 cents USD. That’s brutal for Canadians. Expect the cost of food and energy to rise as the value of the dollar falls. That’s good for government coffers, though. They collect more taxes as costs rise, putting even more pressure on people’s finances.

A company that belonged to federal Employment Minister Randy Boissonnault said it was Indigenous-owned while bidding on federal contracts.

While Boissonnault, who at the time co-owned Global Health Imports, has said in the past that he is Indigenous, he recently stated publicly that he is white.

“Global Health is a wholly owned Indigenous and LGBTQ Company,” Boissonnault’s former business partner, Stephen Anderson, specified in a June 2020 bid by Global Health Imports Corporation (GHI) for a contract to supply face masks. National Post obtained the bid through an access-to-information request.

This is quite incredible.

He had me believing him, until that last paragraph.

‘I just cannot believe my business partner created the impression that our company was native-owned! How dare he!

…Btw, I was adopted into a family with indigenous ancestry with my adopted mother and brother both being status Métis. I don’t have status, but I did all the things, and was in indigenous caucus, and an ally for indigenous relations while MP.

What on earth would give my business partner the notion that I was indigenous?’

How about we just don’t have these stupid race-based programs or preferences then nobody can cheat? It’s ridiculous anyway.

The very first move Trudeau did was raise taxes on small business owners. He said small business owners needed to pay their fair share.

The result ^^

Well at least the US will now kill off all DEI programs with Trump onboard. Canada should follow suit. They are rife with fraud and very few deliver any value.

The federal carbon credit for small businesses, has been found to be a taxable benefit.

Only in Canada. A tax, on a rebate for a tax.

Kevin O’Leary says a goat would be preferable to more Trudeau: https://x.com/meliss...LNt72cvXf0yWpgg

He says so much investment capital has left Canada since Trudeau took power that it will take decades to rebuild.

“Please leave us alone, please. His own party is on their knees begging for him to leave.”

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has announced that a byelection will be held in the federal seat of Cloverdale-Langley City, in British Columbia's Lower Mainland, on Dec. 16.

It comes a little under six months after former MP John Aldag, who had represented the Liberals in the seat from 2015-19 and then from 2021 until May, resigned to run for the B.C. NDP in the provincial election.

Aldag was defeated in the Langley-Abbotsford riding by B.C. Conservative candidate Harman Bhangu, gaining just under 34 per cent of the votes after final results were released last week.
