I saw some head on Twitter say the our passport cost $50,000,000 to design. Did some poking to see but nothing on the surface. Checking if anyone else might have a lead.

It was honourable for that MP to step down, to then seek re-election as MLA.

Like John Aldag, Pablo Rodriguez is leaving federal politics. He was Minister of Transportation until September when he resigned as he will be seeking the Quebec provincial leadership. Unlike Aldag, Rodriguez did not resign his seat, instead sitting as an independent until January, safely preventing a byelection as January is within nine months of a fixed general election date.

My guess is the Liberals and NDP will want to hold onto power as long as possible. They are already low in the polls and probably think any chaos south of the border would benefit them. Preparedness for the change of regime to the south be damned.

The UK has nothing nice to say about our PM, when I visited in October. I think their Labour government was a protest vote to clean house, after a lengthy run by the other guys.

You did.

Government website:

The Government of Canada announced that Canada would send approximately 200 CAF members to Ukraine in support of training and capacity building.

Oh. Ya in 2015. They removed all troops from Ukraine in 2022.

I assumed you were referring to having troops involved in the current armed conflict.

You either respect international law or you don't. You can just decide on a case by case basis which decisions you will abide buy and which ones you will ignore.

I'd actually rather not have our country subject to the intents of other countries.

Those warrants are ignored a lot I bet. It's a symbolic gesture. Maybe he is even guilty as charged. But no one will arrest him.
