Those tools exist but like all AI, it can be wrong. I use an AI image detection site and it’s been wrong twice thinking real photos were AI. I’m the end it’s just a program that is designed to appear intelligent when it’s only just processing data. I will have no problem blowing away replicants when the time comes. No matter how much they gaslight us, they are just toasters, not sentient beings….If only these nerds making AI had a way of asking AI to identify AI-created content.
Humans can detect it. But we’re supposed to believe the technology doesn’t exist to detect it.

It’s a giant scam.
So is writing papers, for the most part. So is most education systems, for the most part.
If I had to write some long-form prose for work each day, I'd probably use AI to do most of the work, then edit it a bit as needed, and/or I'd get good enough at the input points few edits would be required. Big time-saver probably.

Babylon Bee:
The most advanced Artificial Intelligence on the planet was declared an illiterate moron Monday after viewing CNN for just three hours, say sources. Experts believe the A.I., which scours the Internet for information, could not escape the black hole of idiocy that is CNN's content.
Puny humans on the A.I. development team first became aware of a problem when the software began speaking illogically about a variety of topics, much like CNN's Jim Acosta.
"Computers aren't like us; they reason logically," said chief programmer Darren Von Braunstein. "So when it started saying things like 'Biden is a kindly grandpa and is in no way corrupt,' and 'democracy was almost murdered to death on Jan 6,' we knew something was wrong."

To any degree of accuracy, it doesn't. The detectors get the verdict wrong more often than not.

Because they’re not smart enough. They can steal information off the Internet, and use proper grammar to splice it together.
The technology is too dumb to understand its own work, while a human can immediately suss it out.
AI is a scam. There is no ‘intelligence’ there.
Know it all.

Oh yeah. Its the misnomer of the century. LLMs are a tool, not a magic bullet. It is not 'AGI' which is like, Skynet, what everyone is all hyped or terrified about, and may never really exist.

It's "artificial" intelligence.
Machine learning is real. You'll see.

AI never misses a chance to extend a sentence, with some additional rubbish. It's like padding a term paper, to get the word-count up.

I imagine Microsoft should get a sizeable equity stake too. Interesting, and I don't think its a really good move long term, for AI, especially if OpenAI does succeed in developing a AGI.

A bunch of Tesla’s humanoid Optimus robots walked out alongside the reveal of Tesla’s new Robovan vehicle at tonight's Cybercab event. The robot is also seen in a video doing daily human tasks like bringing in a package off the porch and watering your plants.
“The Optimus will walk amongst you,” Tesla CEO Elon Musk qips. “You’ll be able to walk right up to them, and they will serve drinks.”
Musk explains it can basically “do anything” and mentions examples like walking your dog, babysitting your kids, mowing your lawn, serving you drinks, etc. He said it will cost $20,000 to $30,000 “long term.”
“I think this will be the biggest product ever of any kind,” Musk says.

After the presentation, livestream footage showed people interacting with Optimus robots at tables and in crowds. Still, the robots weren’t doing much other than waving in the style of Astro Bot. There was a table of drinks — but the Optimus bot was not seen doing more than holding a cup of ice.
However, one bot could hand over small gift bags at another table and play rock paper scissors with guests. And there was an enclosed gazebo with a bunch of dancing robots inside.

Videos and images posted on social media showed an Optimus robot in a bartender uniform pouring drinks and other robots interacting with attendees and posing for selfies.
Tesla investor Matthew Donegan-Ryan, who attended the event, told Business Insider that he saw the Optimus robots pour drinks, hand out desserts, and interact with attendees.
"One of the things we wanted to show tonight was that Optimus is not a canned video, it's not walled off," said Musk during the Robotaxi unveiling.
"The Optimus robots will walk among you. Please be nice to the Optimus robots," he added.

The Q is now, were the Optimus' completely autonymously interacting with people, having the conversations, or was there a remote human working them and speaking the voice?
