Like what you saw in Minority Report, which is what I said to the Apple Store worker, who of course was far too young to have ever heard of that classic film.

Anyone try out the apple lens thing yet? It’s way more than I’d spend on it, but even just the demo was pretty cool.

Apple really needs to update Siri. She is nearly useless as a personal assistant unless you use the exact wording she knows for the 3-5 tasks she can actually perform.

Then scan vibrant Victoria for any replies to my posts, and notify me if any there are any buzzing threads that might be of interest to me.
Surely the tech is there to do that kinda stuff now, isn’t it?

They did . But, you need Apple Intelligence (iPhone 15 Max Pro, or a iPhone 16).

Darn, I just missed it then. They did . But, you need Apple Intelligence (iPhone 15 Max Pro, or a iPhone 16).
Is it any good? Like, is it useful for executing commands on your phone intelligently? That’s what I really want - an AI that can access and use my apps for me when I give it voice directions.

Yes. I often use my AirPods. I’d really like to tell Siri: go into my work email, find the most recent email from Bob Jones. Write a reply to him saying thanks and I’ll take a look at that.
Then scan vibrant Victoria for any replies to my posts, and notify me if any there are any buzzing threads that might be of interest to me.

can do the first scenario but not the second
