She’s 37. Third marriage coming up. First lasted a little over 3 years, second was a little over 2.
Based on her track record we should see her next engagement announced sometime in the fall of 2023.

Ohhhhh why’d she have to go and make things so complicated.
I feel like you’ve been waiting to say that for like six years.

For the first time in over 2 years I am hearing the sounds of a concert from the SOFMC. It's so nice to know that people can once again gather together for live music that I don't even care if it's loud and runs late.

An Imagine Dragons concert is the musical equivalent of the Marvel Comics Universe: loud, colourful, and with lot of explosions. Fun while you’re seeing it unfold, but somewhat forgettable a week or two afterwards.
Still, there was reason to applaud. The staging would have worked in an area three times the size, which shows that the band brought its stadium set-up for its Victoria debut. That’s a pro move by a band which had a lot to offer its fans on this night.

A little harsh. The band has sold 75M 'albums' so clearly a few people have remembered them. I have met Dan and seen them perform during their last tour. I would say that their show is more entertaining than most and clearly the people who showed up were firm supporters. They tend to give their opening slots to young performers who are starting out in the career. Good for them for bringing exposure to artists but it means that it takes a while to build some energy when their own show starts.

She will not perform in Victoria on this run, however. Arden, who is touring to promote her 15th studio album, Descendant, which arrived in January, will perform June 16-18 in Sidney, which is the closest she’ll get to Victoria. Her other Vancouver Island dates are June 20 in Duncan at the Cowichan Theatre, June 21 in Nanaimo at the Port Theatre, and June 22 in Campbell River at the Tidemark Theatre.

Tickets to her Sidney shows are $160.65 and go on sale Thursday at 10 a.m. through marywinspear.ca. They are also available at the Mary Winspear Centre box office (2243 Beacon Ave.) or by phone from 250-656-0275.
It appears to be 60-70% sold.

Canadian rock legend Randy Bachman is postponing his upcoming touring dates.
Bachman, one of the founding members of The Guess Who and Bachman-Turner Overdrive, announced the postponement Wednesday on his official website.
“The past six months have been the hardest of my entire life,” he wrote. “I have been struck by a series of health challenges.

Bet you’d never think a theatre in Sidney would be stealing high profile shows from downtown Vic.
Something is wrong, for sure.

Her other Vancouver Island dates are June 20 in Duncan at the Cowichan Theatre (731 seats), June 21 in Nanaimo at the Port Theatre (804 seats), and June 22 in Campbell River at the Tidemark Theatre (~490 seats).
Yet she chooses to play 3x in Sidney instead of downtown. Some might even call that Insensitive.

Centennial is a literal dump. That stadium could not have an uglier relationship with the street and its neighbourbood, but the city doesn’t seem to care.

Think there might be personal dynamics at stake that will disappear come November.

The Mary Winspear theatre is a very small, intimate theater, making every seat good and you get a great experience.
Plus, easy parking.
