Ya. Metro is moving across the street to that location, for some reason.
Don't be so sure.

I seem to remember an article on that a while back. Toyota is moving across the road, Lexus is staying put.

The Metro Toyota building is really showing it's age, they are probably glad to have a chance to get a new building.

A Toyota dealer is better than a pay parking lot and abandoned/unused buildings, I guess.

Jim Pattison purchased the old Cornell site.

I am sure he will do a number on it.

So what's with the boarded up section on those fine old storefronts at Fort and Richmond?

Good question. It's been that way for a while.

Know it all.

The Dallas Road project has a webpage and details up now.

www.408dallas.com , starting at $1.35 million. Apparently they are 3400sqft, woodframe. I don't know what market they are after? The person that can afford a $1.35m townhome could likely afford a house in a nicer area (South Oak Bay). The person who wants 3,400sqft likely wouldn't buy a townhouse...woodframe at that. I think they'll sit, time will tell I guess.

Yikes. Who thought that would be a good idea?

Everywall is a shared wall, only a single car garage, and lots and lots of stairs.

I don't think these will be big sellers.
Life's a journey......so roll down the window and enjoy the breeze.

Shared walls aren't too much of a pain, it's shared floors/ceilings that are the real annoyance.

But these places are narrow, lots of stairs and very expensive.

I saw this project now under construction on Shelbourne, just north of Haultain.

Source: Image and developer's site: Bronte Heights

7 three storey townhouse units, 3 along Shelbourne, four in the back.
They range from 1443 to 1559 interior square feet.

Not listed for sale in realtor.ca yet

Notice up on an old house at 1014 Park Blvd. Plans for an 8 unit apartment building. Great density for a small lot.

Notice the dog caught in a rather unfortunate position at this address on Google Street View.

What would we call that thread? Things my dog does in public?
I think that's a project that doesn't need its own thread :P

Anyone know why construction on this site has been halted for two weeks or so?

This is a pretty large lot on Pakington.

No indication what it will be.

They torn down (I think) 3 single family houses that were in very good shape for this.
Must be something pretty high density to offset the cost.
