Agreed.  I liked that place, and the two chefs who worked there were great hosts and talented chefs.

Where should I go for sashimi now?

Victoria Sushi in VicWest.

Yup, Victoria sushi is great. They could turn down the k-pop a little bit, though.

Dancing restaurant owner caught in bylaw complaint - Cfax1070

The Mayor of View Royal says an Admirals Road restaurant owner will be allowed to dance to promote his business again... he just has to be careful where he does it.

He's become well known by those who commute through the intersection of Admirals and the Old Island Highway. But bylaw enforcement officers recently asked the man to stop dancing on the small traffic islands in the intersection.

So while he's out dancing, who's managing the restaurant?

Long time reader first time poster.....

I am actually one of the partners of the soon to be open Saint Franks. My partner and I are building on own other local businesses (wheelies motorcycles and victory barbers).

The concept for Saint Franks is a full menu of in-house made gourmet hot dogs and sides, bourbon cocktail list, vintage pinball arcade and 2 chair satellite victory barber shop with a steady stream of good old fashioned rock and roll playing in the background.

We are hoping to have the space open the first week of November.... Cheers

You had me at vintage pinball...

Saint Franks sounds like a very nostalgic place. What is a 'victory' barber shop?

Victory barber shop is in the Atrium.  really nice.  You can pay $40 for a sweeney todd, get a safety razor, shaving products etc.  High end man grooming spot.

And always very busy.  At St. Franks, they will just have 2 chairs, and no appointments taken.

Victory's prices start at $25.

But do they have a 14 foot wall all in subway tile? That's worth paying double for a shave.

Ok, you've convinced me. Just wish it weren't so far away from home/work.

So they don't whisper in your ear while they shave your neck?

^ That's extra.  They do have one female hair-cutter at "Brothers" (but the option is available from all).

Grace Sushi has opened on Store Street.  It is located in the spot previously occupied by Sen Zushi.
