Given how hard this city tends to fall for sudden food trends, with a gazillion similar restaurants opening once one is successful (from the half dozen years, see: tacos; tapas; gourmet burgers; Korean fried chicken), I've been surprised that we haven't had fourteen poke bowl places open in the last year beyond Island Poke on Douglas.
That said, Island Poke is great and I'm excited to try this new option and see how it compares.

801 Government Street is turning back into an ice cream shop. No idea who is involved, but the building permits were issued last week

It doesn’t look like they pinpointed their location on their map correctly, either.
I mean, it's slightly to the left of Millie's Lane instead of slightly to the right. That's just Open Street Map's addressing, same as how Google Maps isn't always pinpoint accurate.

Pang has opened at 762 Broughton, where Foo Ramen Bar was. I believe it's still owned/operated by the Foo team.
Well that didn’t last long. Pang apparently closed back in December, and a sign is now up saying the Tikka Bar, operated by Turmeric Indian Cuisine, will be opening soon.

I can now confirm that this will be the second location of Vancouver-based Perverted Ice Cream
