There you go. But you don’t tip?

Richmond is one of the places where Full Service is required by bylaw. No tipping here, and there isn't an option when you pay by card. It's a maddening process since not all of the stations have tap, so you often have to get out of the vehicle to enter you PIN at the pump anyways. I usually just tell the person I will pump my own gas!

I can honestly say in many many years of driving I have never ever tipped an attendant.

And never will, I should add.

I would expect a fall opening, but possibly late summer.

August by my source

Their hiring ads also state an opening date in August

Also, did we already know that there was going to be a Starbucks inside the Save On? Bosa's leasing ad for the other CRUs mentions it. According to the site, all 5 CRUs are still available.

I suggest a Coast Capital Savings in CRU#5.

There were rumors last year that the old Post Office at 1625 Fort Street was going to become a grocery store. Can now confirm that there is a BP issued for tenant improvements, the folder name references "Urban Grocer."

Is Urban Grocer a specific brand/chain or a one-off?

^ No idea. I believe the usual naming convention for BP folder names is to give the business on the business license.

There is an Urban Grocer in Lethbridge, AB...

Hey!  Long time lurker - first time poster here.  I live and work in the Vancouver/Pandora area and love the new Save On foods and the buzz it's generated in the area.  I'm wondering if there's any more information about who the new tenants might be at both 1008 Pandora or also at 1488 Cook?  I think a nice high end liquor store like they have in Vessel at the Oak Bay Junction would be a great addition.  There has been little to no activity at the 1488 location so wondering if anyone has info.

Question: you order groceries for pickup. Nice shopper person brings them out to the car. They have picked good quality items and even given you a deal on the deli meat. Do you tip them and if so how much?

Seems they did a lot more than a restaurant server...

Sounds like they went above and beyond while saving you time and hassle. That's an easy five bucks.

Hmm, good question. I've picked up the groceries once for someone, but it was prepaid, so I didn't even think about tipping. Do you really think the person who brings it out to your car is the same one who grabbed the top lettuce on the pile for you?
