In other Bay Centre news, Chai Fashiions will be relocating from their current location in the mall to the previous Urban Art location above.

Urban Art moves to a smaller location on the third floor.

M.I.C House will be moving out of the Bay Centre to a location on Douglas St.

That zoom lens never fails to amaze.

Now with added X-ray vision technology.

I thought I read 1009 on the sign but didn't take a pic so my memory is, well, ...  I'll just say somewhere on Douglas St.   :D

Wow, that’s one of the original tenants at the mall. That’s too bad.

^I think you're right. Safe bet many of the staff weren't born when that unit opened.

When Meghan Markle attended her first royal Christmas alongside fiancé Prince Harry at Sandringham, she did so in curtsy-ready style.

Having caught just a glimpse of burgundy velvet under her camel wool wrap coat bySentaler  — another Canadian favorite — it was several days after Christmas that Club Monaco, which was founded in Canada in 1985 and is headquartered in New York,  confirmed via Instagram that Meghan had been wearing their Tay velvet wrap dress for her Christmas Day festivities with the royal family.

Damn, that's too bad. Club Monaco is one of the few decent clothing stores in this town.

The new painted-pink bubble tea place on Douglas just north of Yates is now open (former Rogers location?) and looked very busy when I passed by on the weekend.

Chatime is very well known in Asia, so I expect it will be a hit among the international community in Victoria.

yup I think it's too bad as well.  It was nice to be able to pop in there quickly and know what you could get. Casualty of online shopping I would guess.

That's a sad photo. Don't know where I'll find socks that fit me now.

I feel your pain. Sears never sold shoes in my size either.

My problem is no other store in town stocks that particular brand of small socks. The ones I have are already holey.
