I know, it's so crisp and clean that it almost looks like it could be for business travelers.
That's the beauty of new furniture.
Marco, how big is that laundry closet? It almost looks like you could get a full size pair in there. Although depth might be a problem.

I don't think opponents understand basic economics. The834 is as close to affordable as it gets in my opinion. We put down 20% and our mortgage + strata fees + property taxes combined are under $900/month. Not to mention for $900 we live in a decent unit and a very nice building. The rooftop is awesome and the media room/courtyard will be great as well. Between the two of us we could afford significantly more per month for housing but at this point having additional space is not essential.
Secondly, there are probably going to be 30 or so rentals in the building. Doesn't this take some pressure of the rental market? There are units as low as $999/month on craigslist right now.
Hearing Pam Madoff be a proponent of "affordable housing," and then not supporting height/density affects my blood pressure

OMG! That's a contemporary building only a few metres from Western Canada's oldest synagogue. I am sure we've seen the last of the tourists now.
