Is there no parking in this building? I don't see it in the renderings, but I've been told they're going to dig down 15 feet...

That's right, no parking. Just a basement

Check out that pile of bricks. One fellow was taking down excess bricks with a shovel.

They appear to be bricks from the building that was torn down. They're "stuck" to the vertical concrete slabs of the Yarrow building.

Okay I thought they were some sort of buttress system on the Yarrow.

Correct.....They are a buttress system and yes they were part of the Yarrow not the Clay Building the Clay building as well as teh other 2 buildings attached to the Clay sat on the ground. No sub floor no basement

Umm... Well wouldn't it be a bad idea to remove that then??????

This building is going up quickly. The scaffolding on Fort should be removed by August (city of Vic source). The AG should be in by November(developer source). That's the rumor anyways. THE SOONER THE BETTER FOR THIS SECTION OF FORT. I'm looking forward to what this block is going to look like once it's all done. This will be one of the more retail dense spots in downtown after the Argus is completed. I'm hoping they are able to attract retailers that will attract more foot traffic to this block. Not another art gallery...

Whoda thunk? A 4-floor, non-descript rectangular box. :squint:
