^No it's closed all day, there's hoarding in the southbound lane.

I rather like it one way. Maybe this should be a permanent change!

These are very short closures, thought whatever direction they are. Victoria is shutting down an entire direction of travel for 18 months.

The northbound closure at Pandora is permanent as part of the bike route work; all northbound traffic will be required to turn right onto the frontage road. So the volume of traffic impacted by a northbound lane closure is low (limited to the number that would use the frontage road). So unless a driver is trying to directly access Harris Green park or the buildings on the south side of Pandora between Vancouver and Cook, the section of road closed for construction should have no impact on their route.

Any ideas when Townline's project will go to council? Would the 18-month closure be just for excavation of the Townline site and then not be needed for construction? I can't imagine 18 months is enough for the project to go to council, be approved, excavated, and then constructed.

LJ says southbound, you say northbound. I think we need video evidence here.

I said the southbound lane was closed, southbound traffic is routed onto the northbound lane.

This might also be relayed to the Wedge project behind the Townline proposal. Townline can be too far behind, though, and I think they can start excavating before formal approvals are handed down.

You should do a drive by, Mike K. You know... investigative reporting...
If I lived nearby I’d be doing daily updates.

This intersection is the view from my living room window. Right now, there's a northbound temporary traffic cone bike lane, markings laid out for the northbound vehicle closure that were always a part of the Vancouver St plans, and southbound traffic is open.
