That must make Nanaimo ultra good then 🥳Our shopping is pretty good compared to cities our size.
I wish I was kidding, but where do men buy clothes in Victoria outside of Walmart, Mark’s and Da Baye? The hiking stores and Complex?

Moores has some great shirts, lululemon has some great pants, check out the Commission line for every day wear that isn’t jeans. Duer brand is sold online and also at Robinson’s - not just outdoor gear.

Go to Oak Bay for men's clothes. WJ Wilson or Hughes.

We don't even get the good stuff that Da Baye sells in Vancouver or Toronto.

I always liked shopping at Harry Rosen in Toronto and there is a really good one in Vancouver.

LoJo has like four awesome mens clothing places. There are more but four that I go to browse fairly regularly. These are all casual clothes places. The Bay is decent though I will admit that when in Vancouver, including the trip in the blog post I hit up the Bay mens dept there. It is amazing.

My thing with LoJo is that’s where everyone goes who is looking for something that isn’t among the top 10 staples (Bay, Marks, etc).
It’s tough to be unique in this town. As soon as you find a line of clothing and a boutique that carries something neat, it’s not long before you’re at a party and two other guys are wearing your shirt.

Speaking of which, I was at a bar just last week, and the bartender and I were wearing the same sweater, lol.
Oh, Victoria.
Who wore it better?

Just got a chance to read the Sidewalking Vancouver piece G-Man. The thing that jumps out at me the most was the superb photography.
Thank you for that.

There is a well known men's formal wear right downtown - sells formal wear and suits of every style, tux, tailored shirts, kilts and argyle jackets if you want to be daring - but its masonic owned and you need to know the secret handshake particularly if you want a "deal". Of course if we showed that mode of recognition to you then VV would rather quickly be needing a new Head Man
Otherwise for places not requiring top secret clearance I second Moore's, Big & Tall if you are - you know - big and/or tall. Or as suggested definitely check out Harry Rosen if you happen to be in YVR and want to go upscale. Make sure there is lots of room on your CC if you opt for the latter
