Just got a chance to read the Sidewalking Vancouver piece G-Man. The thing that jumps out at me the most was the superb photography.
Thank you for that.
Thanks Sparky. I had some fun shooting it as I had really nothing else to do in the evenings and on my breaks.

I find shopping online a huge waste of time. Half the time there is something wrong or it doesn't fit right and so you have to send it back. Much rather try on ten things at a store and walk-out knowing I have stuff that works.

Yeah that is true. Duer is actually one of them. Those pants are awesome. A little pricey but so far seem to be standing up to the test.

If the CoV council is serious about dealing with the local housing shortage, then approving the HG Village proposal should be a no-brainer. Fine tuning the design after approval is OK, but since it will likely be at least 3-5 years before anyone moves into even the first phase of this development, further delays are unacceptable.

...I remember developing negatives in my parents basement bathroom. That’s a lost art.
Too many young adults living full-time in their parents' basements these days. No room for photo developing.
Plus, digital photography.

Thanks Baconbits! Yes I am just getting started. So far just two rolls but I have enjoyed it.
And Nparker you are right that developing has lost out a lot to digital photography but there is a little bit of a renaissance going on right now.

We have a new housing policy in Victoria and it has been in place for a week so it is time to start finding ways to improve it. Have a read about what I think is missing from the Missing Middle.
