The parkade entrance for this place will be on Johnson, right?

Do we know who/what the commercial will be?

Yeah i believe the entrance to the parkade is to be right next to the crackshack... Cant be great news for break ins.

And there go all the ground floor windows, and on a corner lot, too... the provincial regulations on storefronts need a major overhaul. Just let the pot shops do the same things a liquor store can do, eh?

It won't be too much longer until the crack house at 844 Johnson is partially obscured, at least from Quadra Street.

This stretch of Johnson street will be greatly improved once this building and Vivid at The Yates are complete.

This stretch of Johnson street will be greatly improved once this building and Vivid at The Yates are complete.

 

  • 450+ residents added to the immediate area
  • Pedestrian walkway thru Yates to Johnson
  • Extra retail space
  • Hopefully do something about Ming's and the old Floyd's

This area will probably feel totally different in a couple years.

I would not get your hopes up for too much. 450 people sounds like a lot but it won’t amount to much extra street foot traffic. 20 or 25 extra people per hour on the sidewalk.
