A man is in custody and officers are investigating a double stabbing that sent two to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries last night. Just after 10:30 p.m. last night officers were called to the 900-block of Pandora Avenue for a report of a large fight...

Just another survival crime. Nothing to see here people.

Hey, as long as it doesn't happen to members of our council, I'm sure they are quite happy to barrel ahead with the approach that caused this.

And make no mistake, their actions set the stage for incidents like this. And for people to be scared to go through certain areas anymore. With good reason, clearly.

Your plan to make people uncomfortable is working just fine. As long as it happens to someone else.

Skip the Dishes driver @skip_driver: This is one of the reasons #yyj @SkipTheDishes drivers don't want to go to @McDonaldsCa at 980 Pandora. #skipthedishes and @McDonalds do nothing to keep us safe while we're there. This location needs to be permanently closed.

This is a response to the double stabbing.

I have a friend who's daughter had just a shamrock shake delivered to their house.

I thought Shamrock Shakes were seasonal and went away after St. Patrick's Day. Then again, it's been quite a while since I was last in McDonald's.

And to bring this more back on topic, I used to really like those minty marvels. I've always thought it was a bit of a crime they weren't available year round.

I've never noticed much mint flavour in a Shamrock Shake... it's more of a green vanilla than anything else.

Now Dairy Queen will make you a minty mint milkshake! They didn't have a mint flavour supplier for a number of years but it came back some time last year. I was very happy for the return of mint to my local DQ. #MintyFanFood

Yes but big macs coagulate in five minutes.

Mint milkshakes were very popular in the 1960s. I always had that or orange. We could also make them at home with Lawry's Milkshake Syrups. If DQ now has mint, I will be getting one!

Back to crime.

Mint milkshakes are an addiction. Where's my free motel room?

Finally vindication for VV’s mint milkshake colour scheme.

Howard Johnson apparently used to have great milkshakes the last one I stayed in didn’t have a shower curtain I can only imagine the illegal activity.

A new, seemingly innocent and fun internet trend could have parents setting their kids up for identity theft.

Ninja groups – generally focused around a theme such as Wine Ninjas, Weed Ninjas or Kid Ninjas – are popping up all over Facebook as a way to spread joy and stay connected during the pandemic. In these ninja groups, people share a photo of themselves or their children, their age, along with some of their favourite things and their address. A ‘ninja’ will then come by and stealthily drop off a package of goodies.

Darren Laur, a retired cop of 30 years who now runs The White Hatter which focuses on internet safety, says he’s gone into a number of the ninja groups under fake profiles to see what he can find and was amazed with the amount of personal information people were posting.

You’re gonna need a magic mushroom ninja to unlock that part of the brain.

my friend is an admin in one of these groups (i think she helped start it) and it's amazing just how fast it grew to over 600 members (within maybe a few weeks), with those types of numbers it is hard to screen the people entering the group fully, hard to maintain safety... i've been watching the group (joined but did not post anything) and the amount of info people have shared is amazing, photos, likes dislikes, age, school, address, birthday info

Salt Spring: "Serious incident". CTV reporting two bodies found; no threat to the public

There were multiple reports last evening on social media channels that suggest two unusual late night soundings of the Fulford-Swartz Bay Skeena Queen ferry may have been in honour of those involved and though this is unconfirmed.
