It just goes to show you: cheaper and way less hassle to leave the car at home and go Dutch on a cab.
I think you mean.... 'De Dutch'...

Man breaking into home startles homeowner in Oak Bay
AUGUST 3, 2021
Oak Bay police responded after a Wessex Close homeowner heard a kitchen window break and opened the blind to see a man standing on the other side.
He ran off in the direction of neighbouring yards.
The July 29 incident began when someone knocked on the front door and then the side door of the home. The homeowner didn’t answer, but heard glass breaking a few minutes later and went to check.
Police conducted extensive patrols but no one was found.
It’s common for people to knock on doors to see if anyone is home before breaking in, police said. If someone who knocks tells you they’re at the wrong house, call police so they can assess the situation, they said.
The suspect is described as about five-foot-eight with shoulder-length brown hair, a dark complexion and a slim build. He was wearing a high-visibility vest and black shorts, and was carrying a bag.
Contact Oak Bay police at 250-592-2424 with any information.
