It was a lot of fun - clever and funny script, stylishly shot, and great performances, especially from Daniel Craig. Not an all-time classic but a good watch.

Surprised by the distaste for Rian Johnson on here! His attachment was a huge selling point for me. I thought Looper was nonsense but I've loved everything else he's done.

True story: I got home after seeing CATS and couldn’t look my own cat in the face for a good hour or two

I don't really know what to say about CATS at this early stage, since a perfectly credible reaction like "it's one of the worst pieces of art I've ever witnessed" can only sound like empty hyperbole. Maybe I should just wait a few months.

They CGI all the dudes packages, but none of the women's breasts, so that was... a choice. Also: Rebel Wilson doing fat jokes as a CGI cat eating CGI roaches was a thing I didn't know would haunt my nightmares FOREVER. #CatsMovie

i've seen neither.  would i be wrong to say that with the movie where you know you are watching the actors/singers you know it's odd.  where in the play you can't really see faces so well plus the actorer are not well-known.

i mean in the movie you have corden elba dench swift hudson etc.  in avatar you did not even know the less famous actors so well when you saw them in funny faces/.suits.

I would go see "Terminator 10: Chronicles of the T-800 Plenty-of-Fish Dating Account" before I'd watch "Cats" the movie.....
