$130,000

1619 Store St.

Many times voted Number 1 Japaneses restaurant in Victoria previously. Established over 25 years. Commercial kitchen and liquor license in place. Great Location & great lease in place. 1,025 sq. and affordable rent. It's a great opportunity to own a restaurant in downtown Victoria!!

It's changed ownership and names many times since it was Victoria' best sushi place in the 90s.

Another one for the list of Victoria businesses opening up shop on the mainland: Superbaba will be opening a location in Vancouver's Mount Pleasant neighbourhood

I mean if you wanna get technical it's a collaboration among people from Tacofino (Tofino), Cafe Medina (Vancouver), and Abdallah El Chami (Vancouver), which currently has one location in Victoria and a food truck in Vancouver

In the morning noticed no masks on the waiters then later in the day surgical masks by 9 o’clock full face shields and surgical mask.

"Egg Holic is now open at 748 Johnson Street next to the parkade entrance, serving big egg sandwiches and bingsoo (a tasty Korean dessert),"

This is good because often I am walking around Downtown and think, damn, I want some egg. And a lot of it.

That's great! The place is run by a familiar face to those who frequented Baan Thai on Blanshard Street downtown.

She's great. She also worked at Foo for a while. One busy day, when she took my name for my order she frowned, shook her head and said "no, there's already two other <name>'s here waiting. You're gonna be Steve today."  Next time I went a couple of weeks later, it was much quieter, and she yelled out "Steve!" with a huge smile on her face when I came in. I've heard good things about the Dumpling Drop, as they've been doing pop-up locations for the last year or two - gonna have to place an order.
