So Pacific FC are back in action playing away tomorrow to York. The game kicks off at 9:00 am our time and the Yates St Taphouse will open their doors for us to view and will be serving their awesome breakfast special for any who want to join the Lake Side for the game.

another loss unfortunately.  1-0 to york9.  2914 crowd size in toronto.

we only have one league win on the year in 7 tries.  plus two cup losses.

i'm afraid we are in 6th place (out of 7) with the worst goal differential in the league.

a win this week though in Winnipeg.

plus:

Pacific FC is building the largest indoor field house in B.C.

The $5-million facility, under construction on West Shore Parkway, is being paid for by the Canadian Premier League professional soccer club on land leased from Langford.

I managed to stay unspoiled and watched the Canada game when I got home. I sure needed that tonic after the loss at Westhills. The first goal by Edmonton was offside but the second was embarrassing. At least Blasco's blast was fantastic.

BTW, for those interested, I took some pics. The new west stand wil be amazing when it is finished (August apparently):

Disappointing, if totally understandable, crowd for a great game. Hopefully with the win, the game next Saturday will see more in the stands.

Damn, is that what that is? I was meaning to come on here and figure out if Sysco was building a massive new warehouse or something.

Even Langford haters have to admit the whole "building a sports capital" thing is pretty cool and seems to be working

I went to the game on Monday, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. The stadium upgrades look great. The on the field product was good. The game day experience is great.

Honestly, it was leaps and bounds better than going to a Royals game.
